Bombastic

Okay, i had to say this, as am sick of hearing what blessed Uncle Sam's troupe have been upto! one day they are bombing Iraq, Afghanistan the next, recently it was Somalia, and why, coz of its alleged link up with al-Qaida, recently this report on NDTV got me livid..

The head of US spy operations has said that Pakistan, while a key ally in their hunt for terrorists, represents a major source of Islamic extremism and a refuge for top terror leaders.
So now that they admit it, why dont they start bombing Pak? Why does the victim always have to be some backward, war ravaged nation ?
I feel benevolent compassion for the people of Pak though, out of 60 years post independence, 50 years were under military dictatorship, the present one with a benign smirk on his face was to hang his boots way back in 2004, but now as things are going, ahead of the presidential elections its likely that he'll continue till 2011.

Divide and rule still works and Americans learn from the brits...
and hence the cycle goes on...
Any country would do the same
the point is how would u react if you were the citizen of that country?

Americans have historically dug their own grave worked with the car companies and oil companies to ensure that no viable public transport is built pretty much forcing you to buying your own car, which increased their dependence on Middle East oil making them rich which in turn funds terror, then you had the Vietnam fiasco and now we have Iraq!

I thought your blog was funny, until I read the comments.. hilarious stuff ... What do you expect from the US? That it guards your interests and not it's own? That it takes high moral ground? and why in the world?

You feel compassionate for the people of Pakistan becuase of their dictatorship? Now that's funny! What do you feel for the people of India? People get what they deserve .. Musharraf is doing more good to Pakistan than all his political pops put together...

And no, you dint force me to comment :)), jus my good deed of the day. Have a good one btw.

Get a perspective.

The Americans would do anything that suits their business interest. So you would think that 'their' means the US. No, Americans as citizens are far removed from the Government that is American. Americans are busy making money and the Government of the US is a bunch of another cruel businessmen who buy the media, the judiciary and all other pillars of democracy to ensure that their business agenda is served. The US public is just a mock spectator to the high drama that teh Government weaves for their dramatic consumption. Teh story is usually around "the US is a big guy in this world and its citizens are the safest". If Pak were to be bombed who would buy the arms?....until Pak uses this mechanism to exploit the US. When it does become a real threat, the Us will use its military might or simply kill the President and craete chaos in the country...appoint another favourable dictator! Don't hold grouse against Pak. If you truly want peace and happiness in the world...hit the US where it affects them the most - kill them economically. A very simple way? - just stop using anything American.

Thats it Mads...from you...Peek (prabhat from mumbai)...Jai Guru Dev
